(Product Review: SBI eLearning 12-Week Course)

If you're a mom who wants to learn about web design so you can build a profitable internet business, pay close attention to this review. I've learned from experience that an online business is more than just learning about web design, putting up a site with some affiliate links and Google ads on it, and then standing back and waiting for the checks to come in.

(How I wish it was that easy!)

Several years ago, I read Ken Evoy's book, Make Your Site Sell and fell in love with his writing. I was so excited at how simply Ken explained the principles of web design and search engine optimization. From there, I decided to later expand my learning with Ken's e-books and online training course, Site Build It (SBI).

Since then, it's taken years for me to fully appreciate the value and simplicity of SBI, but I know now--beyond any doubt--that SBI is "perfect" for moms who want to learn about web design and use their knowledge to start earning extra income from home.

At first I didn't understand that SBI isn't just a hosting company. I always thought, "I can host my sites cheaper (I have 15 other web sites)." But SBI is so much more...

Okay, here's something all moms can relate to--cooking!

And...if you build a site without traffic, it will be nothing more than an obscure page that's floating in cyberspace.

So my advice for all of you moms who tell me you want to start an internet business is to consider SBI first. Work through the 12-day course, learn about web design, and get your site up and running as quickly as possible so you can start building traffic to it. Once your traffic picks up (the videos will guide you through this), then you can monetize your site with advertising and affiliate programs. You can even recommend SBI once you've proven that it works!

Which brings me to my last point...

Those of you who know me know there are no Google ads on this site, and I will never recommend a product or service I haven't used. I have to know it works first - not just for me - but for all of you.

This is me and these are my rules.

On occasion, however, I do sometimes recommend

The SBI material is very comprehensive...but if you focus ONLY on each day's activity and don't get side-tracked, it's super simple. If not, and you jump around through the course, you might get overwhelmed.

The SBI training is intended to be followed in order, one baby step at a time. For me, SBI is the simplest program I've ever used. Plus, I like the fact that I can go back and watch my videos day after day, over and over, and even download them to my i-pod!

AFFORDABILITY and COST VS. VALUE

UNIQUENESS

There isn't a program online that offers what SBI does or even comes "close" to it. Nothing else needs to be said here because SBI is nothing but total value for the money. I call it the "best deal on the web."
